A new poster of upcoming Tamil film Torchlight was unveiled.In the poster, Sadha wears a white sari paired with a maroon blouse that has a plunging back. In the background, a sprawling city’s skyline is visible.The film, which is directed by Abdul Majith, tells the story of a sex worker who tries to escape from it. The story is set in 1980s.Majith is an Indian film director and screenwriter who has worked on Tamil films. He made his debut with the 2002 social drama film, Thamizhan starring Vijay and Priyanka Chopra. He has since worked on lower budget ventures.The movie will deal with day to day issues women face and will have a simple narrative. The problems dealt at workplaces to traveling a public mode of transport, all of these will form the narrative.Sadha will be seen essaying sex worker in the film as it is about the sex workers.
