The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today said the government is committed to fast-pace the developmental activities so that the people get quality services and the state comes up as one of the models in the country.The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with several deputations from different parts of the state like Kathua, Billawar, Ramnagar, Chenani, Doda,Kishtwar, Rajouri, Jammu during his public durbar here today.Dr Singh said the government has undertaken massive developmental program and new initiatives have ensured that the socio-economic profile of the people of the state gets the requisite flip. He said these would ensure that the developmental landscape of the towns and rural areas gets the necessary impetus so that the populace living there are provided with basic and modern amenities of housing, livelihood, better road connectivity, educational facilities and other related things.The Deputy Chief Minister also met a deputation of lecturers of physical education department who raised several issues like fixing of seniority and their regularization.hile interacting with them, he assured them that their issues would be redressed by taking u them with concerned quarters.The deputation of housing board employees also called on the deputy chief Minister and raised several issues like regularization of their services. He assured them that the issue would be redressed in a tie bound manner.
