IBPS assures banking exam centres in Kashmir Valley after Tassaduq Mufti’s intervention

Coordinator Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell, Tassaduq Mufti while taking note of non-availability of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) exam centres in the Valley took up the issue with the IBPS authorities so that concerns of banking job aspirants are redressed.According to a statement issued by the CM’s Grievance Cell, the Coordinator said that many job aspirants had complained of unavailability of examination centres in the Kashmir valley for most of the banking exams.“Many of our students and job aspirants miss the chance of participating in such exams due to factors like disruption of road and air connectivity because of harsh winter and other socio-economic factors,” Tassaduq Mufti said.Taking remedial action in this regard, Dr M L DuttIncharge Officiating Director, IBPS has assured the Coordinator, that all appropriate steps had been taken to address this grievance and in future, all exams conducted by IBPS would have centres in both the divisions of Jammu & Kashmir. “The student fraternity has widely hailed this decision.”
