Day 2:Tral observes shutdown to mourn the killing of teenager militant

 Mobile internet service has been restored in Tral township of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. The service had been suspended shortly after the killing of Hizb-ul-Mujhadeen teenager militant Adil Rashid Chopan of Larow Tral. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown was observed in the town for the second consecutive day in memory of the slain militant.All shops, business establishments, and private offices remained closed in the town while public transport is off the roads.Adil was killed in a brief shootout in Gujarbasti area of the town on Monday. Earlier, in May this year, he was able to escape from an encounter site at Saimoh when top militant commander Sabzar Ahmed and his another aide were killed. A civilian had also lost life in government forces firing after that encounter, when people were protesting the militant killings.

      Meanwhile, Government Forces cordoned off Lurow Jagir village – the native village of the slain militant. Hundreds of people have been flocking the house of the slain militant’s house to express sympathies with the bereaved family. Local sources told CNS that combined forces including Army cordoned off the village this afternoon.Sources said that search operation is underway and identity cards of the people are being checked.ertinently, a couple of armed militants had appeared at the funeral of slain militant to offer gun salute on Tuesday in the same village.
