The second day of the ongoing 70th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam reaffirmed the famous dictum, “They serve the best, who serve silently” through a spectacular display of Sewadal Rally by devotee volunteers in their uniforms here today. On arrival, Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, Spiritual Head of the Mission, blessed the participating men and women by taking an inspecting round.   Her Holiness also unfurled the white flag, a symbol of love, peace and harmony.Reviving the glorious history of the Mission, the Sewadal members showcased the selfless service of Sewadal since its establishment around seven decades ago.  The members of the Sewadal presented a co-ordinated display of physical formations with physical exercises, games and aerobics. Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj blessed the Sewadal members and inspired them for their continuous contribution towards mankind with selflessness and perseverance. Her Holiness also recalled how Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj felt a deep sense of pride adoring the Sewadal Uniform and accepted every Sewa with elated feelings.Satguru Mata Ji further said that there are many Sewadal volunteers who come to the Samagam but due to their duties elsewhere on the grounds, they are not able to even attend congregations or come near the dais.  This is the  spirit of service unto others only based on the God knowledge that they give preference to service for others. Service (Sewa) performed without any desire for return gets flourished profusely. The outcome of selfless service is service itself.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri VD Nagpal ji, Member Incharge Sewadal and General Secretary, Sant Nirankari Mandal, said that these volunteers in uniform have been offering their selfless service not only during congregations and Samagams but elsewhere also. He sought the benign blessings from Her Holiness so that they continue to serve humanity in future also.Late last evening, addressing the opening day session of the Samagam, Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj recalled the journey of the Samagams held in various parts of Delhi since 1948 and said that the teachings of the Mission have remained unchanged.  Her Holiness, quoting the message of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, said ‘be a better you for you’ and added that consciousness is an essential feature of devotion where a devotee remains alert for the options which he chooses.  Wisdom is learning new things every day but wisdom is also letting go of something each day.  Her Holiness further called upon the devotees to remain linked with God Almighty and the God-knowledge, and not with anybody else. Her Holiness further said that the devotees of the Mission carry fragrance of love, humility and tolerance everywhere.  Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj also said that ‘Some people look for a beautiful place but some make the place beautiful’. Satguru Mata Ji said that those who are connected with God-knowledge and God Almighty, they always remain balanced and blissful in every situation of life.  Quoting a couplet from recently released book ‘Sampuran Hardev Vani’, Her Holiness called upon the devotees to remain steadfast with faith in God and respect fellow devotees by adopting teachings of the Mission.
