Maintaining that Jammu and Kashmir is still lagging behind in such specialized treatment in its institutions and there is great need of such facilities as large number of patients suffering from such critical ailments have to move to outside for the treatment which involves lot of time and money. He appealed the private players, including Fortis Escort to set up their full-fledged set up in Jammu and Kashmir to provide succor to the patients. He said Government intends to promote the private sector in the medical field and all such private players are welcome here for which the Government will facilitate them .
