The Board of Directors of the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) today gave clearance for fresh recruitments.Disclosing this official Spokesman of the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) said that the meeting of the Board of Directors of PRTC, Patiala was held today here under the Chairmanship of Sh. K.K Sharma Chairman PRTC.During the meeting Board of directors gave clearance to the recruitment of System Analyst, Computer Programmer and Computer supervisor on regular basis. He further said that it was also approved to strengthen and computerization activities of PRTC to make best use of modern technology to bring in more transparency and efficiency in the working of the department.Mr. M.S Narang, IAS Managing Director PRTC brought to the notice of board members that w.e.f 01.04.2017 to 30.09.2017 PRTC earned an operational profit of Rs.338.42 lac as compared to the operational loss of Rs. 278.65 lac during the corresponding period of previous years.The matter regarding setting up of retail outlets of oil companies at the sites of RRTC depots/ bus stands was also discussed in the meeting. Two proposals submitted by M/S Sprit Global, New Delhi regarding construction of new bus stand at Patiala was also discussed and board authorized the Chairman and M.D PRTC, Patiala to proceed further and take up the matter with State Government in this regard.Caption : K.K Sharma Chairman PRTC presiding over meeting Board of Directors.
