Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh hosted a reception in honour of ace Wushu athletes of the state Bhanu Pratap Singh and Rajinder Singh who recently won bronze medals at World Championship held in Kazan Russia.The Indian coach Kuldeep Handoo was also felicitated by Deputy Chief Minister on the occasion. Dr. Nirmal Singh expressed happiness on the stellar performance of the athletes. He assured the players of full support from the government. “It is a proud moment not only for J&K but for the whole country that these outstanding players have kept the tricolour flying high in Russia" he added.Dy. CM also felicitated Vijay Saraf, President Wushu Association of J&K, who also accompanied the Indian team to Russia as Lead Official.VC Sports Council, Jammu Ranjeet Kalra, National Wrestlers Balkar Singh, Parminder Singh were also present on the occasion.
