Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister h during his current yatra in Kerala should also visit the state government-run hospitals to learn how the CPI-M-led government there provides health services, party chief Sitaram Yechury said here on Wednesday, in an apparent reference to the deaths of scores of children in a Gorakhpur hospital in August.Adityanath on Wednesday joined the BJP's 'Jana Raksha Yatra' march in Kannur, Kerala, and attacked the Left Democratic Front government there over "political killings" and "love jihad"."Yogi Adityanath is in Kerala. Our advice to him is that he should first take care of Uttar Pradesh. But since he is there he should also visit the government hospitals to learn how health services should be provided and should also see how quality education is imparted in government schools," Yechury said.Over 60 infants and children died at the Baba Raghav Das Hospital in Gorakhpur in a span of few days in August, many due to alleged snapping of the oxygen supply and poor maintenance.

Adityanath has represented Gorakhpur in the Lok Sabha for several terms and was a sitting MP from the constituency before becoming the state's Chief Minister. On BJP President Amit Shah and Adityanath blaming the Left front government in Kerala for the violence against BJP and RSS workers, Yechury said the situation is the other way around."It is the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and not the Left, that is stoking violence in Kerala. They have mounted planned attacks on the Left Front workers. It is their usual tactic for expanding their social base, that is, to create terror and violence in society and through this violence try to consolidate the Hindu vote bank," Yechury said."The RSS intends to prepare the state as a Hindutva lab so as to expand its reach in southern India. But the people of Kerala have rejected their ideology and they would reject it in future too," he added. He said the RSS started violence on the day when Kerala Assembly election results were out."The RSS attack began with the murder of CPI-M worker Ravindranath while he was participating in the victory procession of Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan in his own constituency," Yechury said.

He said that 13 workers of CPI-M have been killed so far and 250 suffered injuries in attacks by RSS activists in Kerala, apart from attack on 60 party offices and 165 houses of party comrades. The CPI-M leader said that on the day of Amit Shah's current visit to Karivelloor and Cheruvathur in Kannur district, the RSS destroyed ATMs, attacked hospitals and telephone exchanges apart from the house of A.V. Kunhambu, leader of Karivelloor struggle, the first major uprising in the Malabar region by the farmers."In June this year, bombs were recovered from RSS centres in Kodiyeri area and a big cache of arms was recovered from RSS office in Payyannur," he said."Every single judicial inquiry instituted to probe communal riots in Independent India has indicted the RSS and its political arm the Jan Sangh and now BJP, as being singularly responsible for sparking violence. This is their history and this is what they are up to," he added.Yechury said the Left front is organising a nationwide protest against the RSS-BJP on October 9.
