Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today laid foundation stone of combined office premises at Kumarsain in Shimla district to be completed at a cost of Rs. 3.91 crore. The complex will house offices of the SDM, Child Development Project Officers, Tehsil Welfare Officer, Excise and Taxation, Employment and Horticulture.The Chief Minister also issued first registration certificate and first driving license, as SDM Kumarsain has been designated as registering and licensing authority. SDM Shri Neeraj Gupta,said that HP-95 series had been allotted for Kumarsain for registering vehicles which has started functioning today.He laid foundation stone of HPPWD rest house to be constructed at Baragaon to cost Rs 65 lakh.Besides, the Chief Minister also inaugurated Rana Someshwar Stadium at Kumarsain on which a sum of Rs 75 lakh has been incurred. The stadium has sitting capacity of around 2000 persons. He laid foundation stone of community centre Kumarsain to cost Rs 26 lakh and dedicated police post at Sainj from Kumarsain.
