HRTC gave benefits worth Rs. 609 crore to HRTC employees

Presiding over Board of Directors meeting here at Shimla today Transport Minister Shri G.S. Bali said HRTC has given benefits of more than Rs. 609 crore to employees and pensioners of HRTC during last four years in the State. He said the corporation has released benefits of Rs. 83.78 crore to the employees and pensioners for 2017-18.He said revenue of the corporation increased to 15 percent during last quarter and increase of Rs. 40 crore as compared to the corresponding period of previous year. Rs. 10 crore will be released will be shortly for two months OTA, TA, Medical Reimbursement, Gratuity and other benefits.Supply order for purchase of 325 ordinary BS-IV Buses has been issue out of which 12 Buses have reached the State.Technical staff will be allowed grade pay as per Govt. notification of 1.10.2012. HRTC Taxi Drivers will get Rs. 750 per month as special pay. 40 post of workshop staff will be filled up on Peace-Meal Basis.
