Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh laid foundation stone of beautification of complex and main gate of Hanuman Temple, Jakhu here today at Shimla.Chief Minister said that the State government has been providing liberal funding for maintenance and restoration of religious temples, historical sites and monuments in the state. He said Rs. 1.32 crore will be spent on the beautification of Hanuman Temple at Jakhu. The beautification of the complex will provide more facilities for pilgrims visiting the temple as well as the tourist who come to this place on their visit to Shimla.Chief Minister said that State Government was giving boost to religious tourism in the State as there was a vast scope to explore it. He said that all out efforts were being made to provide basic amenities to devotees and tourists visiting to various religious places so that they do not face any inconvenience during their visits.
