Bollywood singers Shankar Sahni and Amrinder Bobby enthralled audience on the Fifth day of the All India Devotional Song Competition organized as a part of Navratra Festival 2017 here at Yog Ashram Complex.Chief Executive Officer SMVD Shrine Board Jitender Kumar Singh was Chief Guest.Famous Celebrity singers Shankar Sahni known for his famous Chants Maha Martyunjaya Mantra and Amrinder Bobby had come all the way to perform in the event on the invitation of organizers.In the fifth round of the competition, Sukhdeep from Moga Punjab clinched first Position and directly qualified for semi final to be held on Sept 28. The 2nd Position was shared by Arun and Parmjeet Titu from Jammu, while 3rd position was held by Sushmita Banerjee. These three contestants will now face each other in the quarter final to be held on Sept 27. A total 10 participants were auditioned in this round.The first position holder was provided with a cash prize of Rs 10,000, while the 2nd and 3rd runners up were given Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. They were also presented gift hampers by Roots Herbals.The panel of experts comprising celebrity Singers Shankar Sahni and Amrinder Bobby, besides Lecturer Music Prof. Anupama Sharma, former Director All India Radio V.K Sambyal adjudged the contestants.The proceeding was conducted by Rakesh Wazir -the Chairman of the competition.Wazir also informed that famous celebrity Singers Noora Sisters will perform tomorrow at the event. He also informed that the live telecast of the event is available on Shradha Mh one from 9.10 PM onwards daily.
