In order to settle the rehabilitation plan for Dal dwellers, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today chaired the 106th High Level Committee (HLC) meeting of LAWDA regarding capping of plots.The meeting was informed that the plots will be provided against the structures at Abi Nowpora and Abi Karpora, which are to be removed under the Dal Development and Lakes & Waterways Development programmes.It was said the plots have been capped as per the requirements and convenience of the people being shifted from the Dal areas.
During the meeting, various cases regarding allotment of plots to Dal dwellers for rehabilitation at Rakhi Arath were approved.The Div Com stressed upon the concerned authorities to speed up the rehabilitation process and clear the pending cases immediately.Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, VC LAWDA, VC SDA, Chief Engineer UEED, Chief Town Planner, Joint Commissioner SMC, Executive Engineer Lake Division I, Deputy Director Planning and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
