Inter school junior recitation Competition organised at Shemrock Senior Secondary School Sector -69, Mohali. As many as 28 Schools from tricity participated in this competition. The competition was divided into age wise categories .Students of various schools revelled in the joy of words while the reciting rhymes. The participants of the recitation Competition had chosen classic topics, which allowed evocative rendering and transported the audience to the realm of fancy created by the beautiful words. Students used their imagination to create moral based stories on season, honesty, national integrity, truthfulness, loyalty etc. Enthusiasm and passion of the students witness by the judges.While honouring the winners Director Education of school, S K Sharma presented his observations and comments for the benefit of the students and said that such competitions enhance ability to use words effectively and would enable a child to create his own unique identity. Seerat Sangha of Infant Jesus Convent School bagged first prize whereas Parinita Singh of Sacred Souls School scored second Prize & Raavi Sehgal of Bhavan Vidyalaya got third prize .Aatiksh Mahajan AKSIPS setor -125 ,Bhavjeet Kaur AKSIPS sector -65 ,Aayan Sawal Bhawan Vidyalaya ,Ananya Sharma Infant Jesus were also honoured with consolation prizes .The winners were awarded certificates and trophies.
