As the Nation remembers the former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi on his 73rd birth anniversary, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh offered floral tributes on his statue atSadbhavna Chowk, Chhota Shimla to mark his birthday celebrations here today. Former MLA Harbhajan Singh Bhajji,Vice President HPCC Kehar Singh Khachi and few Councilors of MC Shimla were present on the occasion.Chief Minister said that late Shri Rajiv Gandhi was a source of inspiration and icon of youth of the country. He said Rajiv Gandhi was behind the information and communication technology revolution in the country.However, while interacting with the media he said that as it was the function of MC Shimla and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor should have been here on the occasion.Devotional and patriotic songs also formed part of the ceremony.
