6th Annual Aloha District Level Competition Abascus and Mental Arithmetic competition was held here at Town Hall Kupwara. Aloha, which has been engaged in exploring the untapped energies and talent of the young students for so many years now organized this event. The event started with competition Abascus in which a huge number of students from different and far-flung areas of District Kupwara participated enthusiastically. At the end of the competition the successful students were encouraged with felicitation and given prizes with.Asif fayaz, Asif Jahangir, Azan Farooq, Sheikh Danish, Rehana Jamal, Tahir Ahamd Shah, Salman Mudaisr,Burhan Manzoor Khan , and Tashif Mazoor. The program concluded with an impressive Prize distribution ceremony.The Prize distribution ceremony was being presided over by Dr Ishfaq Reham and Mr Qasim Ahmad who were the chief guests on the occasion.
The other guests amongst others included Showkat Masoodi, Member Civil Society Kupwara. Media persons, Syed Aabid and Peerzada Zubair , Sahil shameem ,Amin Masoodi, and Tassaduq Hussain were also felicitated at the award ceremony. The teachers and staff members of Alloha including Israr ul Haq, Miss Gul Bahar, Miss Gazala Akhtar, Miss Shazia Kousar, Mr Zubair Ahmad and Mr Bilal Wani coordinated the event successfully. It was due to the positive and proactive efforts of the teachers and staff members of Alloha that the competition and program ran successfully. The teachers also held relevant Councelling sessions for the student in order to encourage them so that the inner talent in them gets explored and chanalized in a positive manner.Journalists were also rewaded on the ocassion. Most importantly Aloha also launched a kupwara polythene drive, Advised all the humans to stop using polythene and save environment.
