A cultural programme was organised by the District Information Centre in collaboration with Academy of Art & Culture, to mark the Independence Day celebration " Jashan-e-Azadi".MLA, Shah Mohammad Tantray, DDC, Tariq Ahamad Zargar , SSP Rajiv Panday, ADDC, senior officers from district administration, Brigade Commander 93 infantry Brigade, officers from CRPF, BSF, police besides civil society members and media persons attended the programme.The local artists presented folk music, songs and other cultural items which enthralled the audience.The people appreciated efforts of Information Department and Cultural Academy of Art and Culture for organizing the mega event.
