The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission acting on a complaint by one Tehal Singh S/o Ajaib Singh R/o Village Bawali Khurd, Tehsil Khamanon, District Fatehgarh Sahib has directed the Deputy Commissioner Fatehgarh Sahib to probe the matter and send a detailed report within a month to the commission.Disclosing this, the Chairman of the commission Mr. Rajesh Bagha said that Tehal Singh had submitted a complaint that the village Sarpanch Lakhvir Singh had committed injustice of the gravest nature with him and demolished his house owing to factionalism. The complainant also alleged that the administration didn't pay any heed to his case and didn't take any action which explains why he knocked at the doors of the commission. The Chairman further said that the commission got the matter probed by the Deputy Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib which placed the estimated loss suffered by the complainant at Rs. 55000 due to the demolition of his house.
