The Principal Resident Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, R K Gupta unfurled the National Flag at Jammu and Kashmir House here to mark the 71st Independence Day.A contingent of Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police presented the march past on the occasion. The ceremonial function was attended by all the officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir State, posted at New Delhi.Congratulating the participants on this auspicious occasion, Principal Resident Commissioner said that this is the event to remember the martyrs and Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives to make the present day a reality.Later, Principal Resident Commissioner interacted with the officers and officials of the house and gave special gifts and commendation certificates to all the participants.
