Police today claimed to have arrested two militants from Handwara area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district.A police officer told news agency GNS that acting on a specific information about the movement of the suspected persons in the area, a joint team of Handwara Police, 21 RR and 92 bn CRPF during a search operation apprehended two militants in Handwara.The officer identified the militants as Younis Ahmed Mir (19) @Sarfraz S/O Bashir Ahmed Mir R/O Sabdan Galwan Pura and Tahir -ul-Islam @Sajad Afgani (21) S/O Bashir Ahmed R/O Muloor, Tohed Abad, Shaltang, Srinagar.Both militants belong Harkatul Mujahideen outfit, the officer said.He said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigations taken up.
