Deputy Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Balwan, today reviewed the arrangements assigned to different departments in previously held meeting in context with celebration of Independence Day 2017.? SSP Sandeep Wazir, ACR Mohd Sayeed, CPO Yasir Balwan, Tehsildar Kishtwar Irshad butt besides officer and representative of PWD (R&B), PDD, Social welfare, Medical, Education, Agriculture, RDD, Sports, Information, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Food, Municipal, Army, CRPF, Fire and Emergency Services were present in the meeting.The DC took a brief review of the arrangements done by various committees framed earlier for purpose of distributing the various arrangement related works and making the event smooth and successful.It was finalized that the venue of the main function shall be Chowgan ground where the VIP will unfurl the national flag and take salute at the march past parade of the contingents drawn from various schools and belt forces. Besides it was also decided that the full dress rehearsals will be held on 13th August at 09 am followed by cultural programmes.DC reiterated that all the officers entrusted with arrangement works in different capacities shall perform their work with dedication well in time and contribute in making the national festival successful.
