Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that on day one around 19 students were shortlisted under scholarship plan. Students are giving overwhelming response especially B.Tech LEET in Civil Engineering & MBA in Marketing. Dr.Kataria further said that from 2012-13 the group going to start M.Tech, Polytechnic, GNM, ANM, +1,+2 students can also apply for these. Dr.Kataria further added that Aryans is the top most choice in Chandigarh for Jammu and Kashmir (JK) students, but the students of JK are facing lot of problem as the banks are not supporting students for education loan. “This time Aryans Group has added some more categories like Kashmiri migrants, SC, ST, OBC, BPL, Orphans, Persons with disability (PWD), Defence and sports categories for giving scholarships”, added, Dr.Kataria.
Dr. Kataria added the candidates must bring all the original documents along with the family income statement, token fees and domicile certificate. He further added that a part of the student's education would be funded by the College, a part by the student and rest of the part by the Bank.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans 20acre campus is situated on Chandigarh- Patiala highway. The group is running MBA College, BBA/ BCA College, B.Ed College and Engineering College. Hundreds of Jammu and Kashmir students are studying in Aryans Campus.
