Opposition should refrain from politicising sensitive issues : Virbhadra Singh

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh while addressing a public meeting at Solan, today said the Opposition in the State was trying to play politics over the death of an innocent girl, Guddia, and was also responsible  for  unrest in Tissa, in district Chamba he said, adding that all those who were involved in the loot and arson and had damaged the public property won't be spared. It was wrong to give a political colour to the mishappenings for self-interest and the BJP leaders instead sympathizing the death of Guddia, were flaring up the matter to be in news and gain cheap publicity.Referring to the clashes in  Tissa,  the Chief Minister said that the situation  was well under control and a peace march was organized today by the eminent people and representatives of both the communities, besides a pledge was taken to maintain peace and harmony.The Chief Minster said that the BJP created lots of hullabaloo on construction of Ram temple at Ayodhaya and even collected funds for the same but as of today, the temple had not come up. He questioned that was it a mere a political propaganda by the BJP to woo voters.

He also listed the development undertaken during last over four and a half years and said that Himachal had emerged as the most literate state in the country.Shri Virbhadra Singh said that it was the duty of the organization to give reply to the attack on any of the member or leader of the Congress party by political opponents. The party keeps mute over the allegations instead adopting the formulae of 'All for One and One for All'. The party organization whether at state, district or block level  should unitedly rebut the political allegations and propaganda  of BJP and other political opponents.The Chief Minister said that he was capable for answering and giving firm reply to the opposition. He said that it was for the very purpose the State, District and Block Congress Committees have been formed. The party cadre should jointly come out with rebuttals on the false propaganda of the opposition and make the people aware of the cheap tactics of opposition.

He assured to fulfill the demands as raised by the Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, and said that he would analyze on the demands of opening a Primary Health centre at Nauni, and a new water supply scheme from Giri River.The Minister thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating projects of around 41 crore at Solan today. MLA Shri Ram Kumar Chaudhary Chairman, HP Building & Other Construction Work Welfare Board Bawa Hardeep Singh, Chairman H.P. Agriculture and Marketing Board Dr. Subhash Manglet, Chairman Zila Parishad Shri Dharampal Chauhan, Chairman APMC Shri Ramesh Thakur, Chairman District Congress Committee Shri Rahul Thakur, HPCC General Secretary Shri  Sanjay Awasthi and Shri Vinod Sultanpuri, Managing Director Marketing Board and Director Horticulture Shri H.S. Baweja, Member BoD HPTDC Shri Surender Sethi, Chairman Baghaat Urban Bank Shri Arun Sharma, Chairman Jogindra Co-operative Bank Shri Mohan Mehta, Member Animal Husbandry Welfare Board Shri Rajender Thakur also accompanied the Chief Minister.
