Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary along with senior officers of the district administration in gave a warm send off to the Haj-2017 pilgrims from Rajouri.Around 124 Haj pilgrims from across the district had participated in orientation programmes organised by the district administration. They were wished safe journey and smooth performance of Haj rituals.SSP Yugal Manhas, Administrator Auqaf Abdul Qayoom Dar besides officers of district administration and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.While interacting with the pilgrims at Dak Bungalow Rajouri, the Deputy Commissioner requested them to pray for peace and progress in the State.It was said that the district administration is extending all possible help to the pilgrims to ensure their safe and smooth pilgrimage. Contact numbers of district administration were also shared with the prospective Hajis for assistance and help in case of any inconvenience.
