Additional Deputy Commissioner Basholi Sanjay Gupta today inspected ongoing works being undertaken by the department of PHE & Irrigation under different schemes.At Mandla, ADC took stock of ongoing lift irrigation scheme, the work on which has been stalled, and called for submitting report for taking up matter with higher authorities. He also visited pumping station site of Basohli town and instructed the authorities to take steps for covering filtration tank. GREF authorities were directed to construct protection wall along Cremation Ground near Atal Setu Bridge of Basohli town.ADC also visited Plahi and directed AEE to ensure repair of defunct Bore-well motor.At Maadta, he took stock of Theru water supply scheme and directed the department to ensure early completion of scheme.Later, ADC interacted with a deputation from Palaak and Thanoon area who demanded adequate water supply.ADC directed PHE authorities to ensure regular and safe potable water availability to the people of the area.Tehsildar Basholi, AEE PHE, AEE Irrigation, AEE Flood Control besides other officers accompanied the ADC during the inspection.
