Additional Deputy Commissioner, (ADC) Gurvinderjeet Singh chaired the District Level Task Force committee (DLTFC) meet of district industries center Poonch for providing loan assistance to the unemployed youth under PMEGP Lead Bank Manager Ashwani Gupta, Manager DIC Parvinder Kour and Shakeel Ahmad, AD Planning RDD, District Officer Nehru Yuva Kendera Poonch and representatives from KVIB, KVIC were present in the meeting.During the meeting 218 cases were put up before the DLTFC to scrutinize the eligible cases of loans, and 135 cases were approved by the committee for establishment of steel fabrication units, photo studio, photostat shops, shuttering, beauty parlor and cable television cutting tailoring unit, service station, shuttering, mobile repairing, manufacturing of stabilizers, readymade garment manufacturing, cement tiles, shoe making, etc units in the district.ADC called upon the departments and agencies to create awareness about the scheme especially among unemployed youth. He also stressed for educating youth to get registered through online portal of respective departments and agencies. He directed officers to ensure linkage of trained beneficiaries of skill development courses with PMEGP so that skilled youth can avail maximum benefits.
