State Vigilance Bureau, during its ongoing campaign against corruption today nabbed Head Constable (HC) Jeet Singh red handed while accepting bribe in a bribery cases.Disclosing this here an official spokesman of the Vigilance Bureau said HC Jeet Singh ingh posted at Police Station Lakho Ke Behram district Ferozepur was nabbed red handed on the complaint of Mukhtair Singh of village Aavan, district Ferozepur. The Complainant has approached the VB that the accused HC was demanding Rs. 3,000 to present challan of his case in the court.After verifying his information, the Vigilance team laid a trap and the accused HC was arrested on the spot accepting bribe of Rs. 3,000 from the complainant in the presence of two official witnesses. He informed that a case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against him at VB police station Ferozepur and further investigation were under progress.
