The District Development Commissioner Ganderbal today convened a meeting to review the functioning of the Revenue Department in the district.The DDC held detailed review of the progress made under ongoing entry of Jamabandi/Girdawari and directed the revenue staff to work added zeal for the completion of the same on time. He directed Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar to ensure proper procedural steps for the inspection/writings of the Revenue records. He also called for proper check of Harvest inspection of Girdawari entries and directed Tehsildars to submit regular reports on harvest inspection report. He also stressed on officers to ensure end to encroachments on state land. He impressed upon the officers to a keep strict check on encroachment and land conversion cases. He passed instructions for renovation of extract of aks Masavi and Latha to save the original record before the next Girdawari schedule. He deliberated upon 29 point agenda framed for the Revenue meeting like updation of Records/ Girdawari, Jamabandi, Status/ ROR preparation etc.ADC Ganderbal, ACR Ganderbal, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, and concerned officers were present in the meeting.
