Life was affected in different parts of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district over the killing of three militants and a civilian in Army firing.Reports said that life limped back to normalcy in the main Anantnag town after yesterdays’ shutdown; however, in other parts of the town, people continue to observe strike against the militants and civilian killings.Three militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba were killed after police and army ambushed their car in Watergam area near Bulbul Nowgam on Monday night while an elderly man injured in army firing earlier in the day in Arwani area succumbed on Tuesday evening.Sixty year-old Muhammad Abdullah Ganaie was a resident of Hussanpora village of Arwani.A complete shutdown was also observed in Arwani, Bijbehara and Kokernag areas of the district.
