The way religious leaders and preachers have been continuously assaulted & murdered in Punjab over a period of time it seemed that the law and order machinery in Punjab has completely collapsed.Sangrur MP and AAP state president  Bhagwant Mann and AAP legislator and co state president Aman Aroraon Tuesday have taken a serious view of the deteriorating law and order situation in the state. Taking on Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh who also holds the portfolio for home affairs and justice both the AAP leaders said that Capt Amarinder should immediately hand over the aforesaid portfolio to someone more dedicated and efficient from his party. " We need a full fledged home minister in Punjab who is committed and dedicated to bring deteriorating law and order situation of the under control. " Unlike Capt Amarinder who seem to have other priorities in life than focusing on effective administration in Punjab".

The CBI under BJP's Nardendra Modi government has not been able to make ay headway to pinpoint the culprits of series of sacrilege incidents occurred during the SAD-BJP regime. " The murder of priest Sultan Masih in Ludhiana is yet another attempt to vitiate the hard earned peace of Punjab and to create communal wedge in the civil society", said Mann and Arora. While making an appeal to the people of Punjab both the AAP leaders said they should continue to maintain peace and brotherhood in the society and should not play into the hands of anti national and anti social elements which have been trying hard to achieve their nefarious designs. The AAP leaders said in the past former SAD deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal who also held the home portfolio was more keen to expand his business empire than focusing on the law and order situation in the state. As a result many religious preachers and leaders from social organisations were assaulted. " Even now after the change of guard the situation is no different. Capt Amarinder seem to have completely lost control over the police administration as a result the anti national and unruly elements are having a field day. He should immediately hand over the charge to some efficient leader so as to bring some sanity to law and order in Punjab", said both Mann and Arora.
