A football tournament was played at Wavoora Amry camp.The volleyball Tournament was organised by 18 RR BN kuligam Area Of Lolab from Frontier District of Kupwara.The Tournament was played on a league base in which 20 local Teams from Lolab area Participated. The Tournament started on 1 July of this same month and the grand final of the same tournament was played at the same venue where all the other matches were played.Grand final of the the inter village volleyball championship Wavoora was played on Sunday 16 July 2017 .Final was played Between Wavoora A vs Wavoora B in which Wavoora A emerged as the winners of the tournament. winners were awarded with 5000 Rs Cash, Volleyball Net and A Volleyball for their win over Wavoora A In finals Of the Volleyball Championship .Runner-up from the same match were awarded with 3000 Rs Cash, Volleyball and a Volleyball Net. Best player of the tournament was given to Naseer Ahmad Khan. Naseer Ahmad Was awarded 1000 Rs Cash for his brilliant achievement and best performance in the tournament. Best coordinator of the tournament was given to Babar Ahmad Beigh . Babar was awarded with 1000 Rs Cash for his best coordination throughout the tournament. Chief guests of the same Grand finale were, Brig Mohit Trivedi,SM Commander 8 Sector.Colonel Sandesh Singh CO,18 RR. And Major BD Chetri Company Commandar. Local senior citizens and respected personas were also invited there to encourage the players. Locals Like, Sarpanch, forest Officers, Ward members, Imams (Religious Preachers), and All Respected Ex Army persons were also invited in the grand finale of inter village volleyball Tournament.
While talking to Company Commander Major BD Chetri Told 5 Dariya News Correspondent Tasaduq Hussain That we are giving youth to come and participate in such tournaments as organised by our company and till now everything is going normal and we would like to organise some more such tournaments and let Youth to play and show their talent. All the interested ones are invited to participate without any entry fees and Guaranteed Grand finale of evey tournament. We freely come here in the Amry Camps wherein we really enjoy playing as because all the officials and All other night officials are really very friendly and they always give us opportunity to show out talent. Whenever we come here and play we always give our best as because they also expect a lot from our games we play. We welcome such events organised by Local Amry .
