Dr. Jayanto Shekhar Guha, senior Vitreo Retina Surgeon accompanied by Ms. Romita Guha, Chief Administrator, and Ms. Manisha Shrivastava, Administrator, Sai Retina Foundation, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today. Dr. Guha has been visiting Srinagar for conducting advanced retinal surgeries, including pellet removal surgeries, once a month for over a decade.Dr. Guha apprised the Governor about the welfare activities of the Sai Retina Foundation which provides comprehensive eye care for the poor by organising camps for screening of cataract and diabetic retinopathy and cataract surgery, free of cost. He sought financial support from the Shrine Boards for organising free eye camps and awareness building.Governor, who is Chairman of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and Shri Amarnathji Shrine Boards, urged Dr. Guha and Sai Retina Foundation to continue serving the largest possible number of the disadvantaged sections of society who are unable to bear the cost of  the required treatment and surgeries.
