Nalagarh (Solan) , 12 Jul 2017

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today announced upgradation of Mesi-Plassi and Bakaunta Government Primary schools to Middle schools,  an Ayurveda dispensary at Bhaatian and vegetable sub-yard at Ramshehar. He was  addressing a massive public meeting at Ramshehar in Nalagarh Assembly constituency of Solan district. He said that BJP believes that Virbhadra Singh was a biggest hurdle in the state for them to return to power, for which they were anxious enough. "My dreams haunt the BJP leaders and no matter how hard they try to conspire against me, they will never be successful in their ulterior motives", said the Chief Minister. He said that with connivance of few central leaders, the state BJP was trying to propagate amongst the people the cases of my income tax returns being probed by three central investigative agencies. My single case of income tax was being investigated by three central agencies, which was pathetic, he said.He warned few black-sheeps within the party-fold who were trying to be hand in glove with the BJP. We would certainly find such people out and bring them before the public. The people of the State very well know about such people who are opportunists and instead of working for the welfare of the people they try to serve their own selfish motives. He appealed to the representatives to work for people with dedication.

Nalagarh and Doon witnessed major development during past some time, he said. There was a time when there was water scarcity in these area and also lacked better educational and health institutions. The Government paid lot of attention to these areas and particularly the irrigational facilities were provided on priority besides health institutions. He said he was often criticised by the BJP for opening too many educational institutions in the state. But the BJP fails to understand that the population was also increasing per day and the Congress government could foresee the needs of people irrespective of their age. The Congress government was a true benefactor of the people, this has been proved, said he adding that due to love and respect of the people he was the Chief Minister for the sixth time. He agreed in principle for opening  sub tehsil at Panjera in Changer area of the constituency.

Former MLA and executive member HPCC, Lakhwinder Rana while speaking on the occasion lauded the efforts of the Chief Minister for massive development  in Nalagarh constituency. He said that the area always remained ignored during the regime of opposition. He said that soon a stadium would come at Kirpalpur and counted other developments. Chairman, Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Bawa Hardeep Singh welcomed and honoured the Chief Minister and supported the demands as raised by the local Pradhan. He urged for opening Tehsil office at Ramshehar. He also listed other developments of the area during the present government regime. Bawa thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating various development projects of around 76 crore.Shri Virendra Sharma, Pradhan GP Ramshehar placed forth few demands of the region.Present on the occasion were Industries Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, MLA Shri Ram Kumar, Chairman Agricultural Produce Marketing Board, Shri Subhash Manglet, General Secretary, HPCC, Shri Vinod Sultanpuri,  DCC President, Solan Shri Rahul Thakur, Chairperson Zila Parishad Shri Dharam Pal,Chairman APMC Solan Shri Ramesh Thakur, Member BoD, HPTDC Shri  Surinder Sethi, Member, State Animal Husbandry Board Shri Rajinder Thakur, Deputy Commissioner Shri Rakesh Kanwar and SP Shri Beshar Singh amongst others.
