Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday rebutted charges of saffronization against his and the Union governments, noting people saying so are misplaced in their analysis. In his address at the launch of "Marching with a Billion", a book analysing the Narendra Modi government at midterm, he said people who make this charge are the ones who do not wake up early to see the bright sun in the morning and live in ignorance.

"The people who say so are the ones who wake up in the afternoon and hence they miss the colour of the morning," he said, pointing out how the nation was being filled with colours by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "We are people who are not deterred by such accusations and are marching ahead in service of the nation, development and prosperity," he added. He also complimented Modi for his historic visit to Israel, a first-ever by any Indian Prime Minister."People who were worried about their vote banks skipped Israel but we are people who are more committed to the people of this country and progress of the nation," he said.
