Family of missing businessman from Gulshan Abad Budgam whose body was recovered by police today in Mattan alleged that he was murdered by his business associates.Thirty three year old Mushtaq Ahmad Ganaie a butcher by profession according to his family had left home with rupees 5.30 lakh cash in hand to get live stock from one Javed Ahmad Gujri of Mattan.Deceased family alleged that Gujri and two others have murdered him cold blood and then thrown his body somewhere in Mattan with hands and legs tied.“This is not an allegation as the both his hands and legs were tied with rope, the vehicle had had carried along was also recovered from Pampore area, police also recovered cash thirty thousand in the car while rest of the money is yet to be recovered,” Mohammad Amin Sofi brother-in-law of slain said.He said that two of the accused have been arrested by police while main culprit Javaid Ahmad Gujri is still at large.

“There is no question of any rivalry with anyone, he was an honest businessman and had went to Mattan to buy livestock, accused after finding money have murdered him. Police is has so far done good job but our demand is to arrest the main culprit so that facts come to fore,” Sofi added. He said that Mushtaq has survived with two minor siblings including son and daughter and wife who have been in a state of shock since he went missing.“It is very difficult to make his children aware of the truth; they are not ready to accept that their father is no more while as his wife seems to have lost her mental balance. She is not talking to anyone nor eating anything. Didn’t murderers felt pity over his family before carrying out the monstrous act,” he said.
