We should feel proud the way Himachal Pradesh has evolved from the agrarian economy to industrial society with numerous changes in technology which impacted the workforce and economic power, and today stands as the model of developed and progressive hill State in the country.This was stated by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who was the chief guest in a function organized by the Dainik Bhaskar group to honour the entrepreneurs of the State, here today.The Chief Minister congratulated those who contributed in building Himachal through industrialization and catering to employment needs of the youth of the State.He released a coffee table book on the occasion incorporating the success stories of the entrepreneurs, who made a mark by their efforts in industrial sector. The Coffee table book has been compiled and written by Ms. Superna Jain, who shifted her focus from writing love stories to highlight the life-times of entrepreneurs of Himachal Pradesh.
Virbhadra Singh said that the entrepreneurs can be a source of inspiration for others as well and the book well describes their struggle they have gone through to climb ladders of success.He also honoured the youngest entrepreneur Shri Subodh Gupta from Microtek, besides Shri Satya Prakash Thakur who runs the Bhuttico industry famous for Kullu Shawls which has made its presence felt worldwide.Director of Hot Springs Resort at Tattapani, Shri Prem Lal Raina, Shri PK Khosla, of Shoolini University, Shri Dilip Kumar Singh from heritage Institute of Tourism, Sanjauli, and many others were also honoured on this occasion.Health and Revenue Minister Shri Kaul Singh Thakur also spoke on the occasion. He said that the industrialists have brought a good name for the State and their efforts should be highlighted which could be only done by the media. Besides, the media should also highlight the success stories, policies and programmes of the Government in the true perspective. Earlier, State Editor, Dainik Bhaskar, Shri Deepak Dhiman welcomed and honoured the Chief Minister and other distinguished guests on the occasion.Vice-Chairman, HPTDC, Shri Harish Janartha, Resident Editor, Dainik Bhaskar, Shri Sandeep Upadhaya, Unit Head, Shri Sahil Sharma were also present on the occasion amongst others.
