Excise Department Udhampur-Reasi Range in collaboration with J&K wine traders and Hotel and Restaurant Association today organized an Anti-Drug abuse rally under Social Responsibility programme .The main objective of organizing the rally was to generate awareness among common masses especially youth about the harmful effects of Drug abuse.District Development Commissioner, Niraj Kumar also participated in the rally which was flagged off by ADC Avny Lavasa.The rally started from DC Complex and after passing through the busy streets of Court Road, Saillan Talab, Chabootra Bazaar and Gole Market, culminated at Town Hall, Udhampur where an awareness programme was also organized.Among others, Chief Planning Officer Ashok Khajuria, ACR Subash Dogra, ACD Om Parkash, ETO Suresh Sharma, Chief Executive Officer MC Santosh Kotwal, DIO NIC Anil Sharma, Excise Inspector, Rajesh Verma besides other district officers and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
