The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Ltd., Chandigarh today organized a yoga camp on the occasion of International Yoga Day in association with Indian Institute of Yoga in which the officers and employees of the bank and other people participated in large numbers. Disclosing this a spokesman of the Punjab Cooperative Department said Mr. V.K. Singh Financial Commissioner Cooperation Punjab was the chief guest and Dr. S.K. Batish Managing Director of the Bank and Mr. Inder Mohan Singh Additional Registrar (Credit) also participated in the camp. Addressing the participants Mr. V.K. Singh emphasized on the importance of yoga and asked to involve more and more people at district and branch level so that public could benefit from yog exercises and lead healthy life.Mr. V.K. Singh also released a documentary titled as "Pand" in which the farmers were urged to work hard with dedication and give up the path of suicides. This motive was explained in a very befitting manner in the documentary and the farmers were encouraged to lessen their unnecessary expenses. On the occasion he honoured Mr. Harvinder Singh Dhillon deputy general manager of bank for his contribution in making the documentary along with full cast of the documentary.
