Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) has registered a case under Prevention of Corruption Act on outcome of a verification conducted by Vigilance Organization Kashmir into the allegations that officers/officials of PHE Division Budgam in league with each other and with the beneficiary contractors and by abuse of their official positions to confer undue pecuniary advantage in favour of the contractors have given the total extension of Rs. 60.17 lacs for construction of Chowkidar quarter at Doodhpathri & for construction of spring protection work at head site WSS Gujjar Basti Lanilab without completing the requisite codal formalities under the cover of urgency. The matter of fact is that even after the lapse of two years both the works are yet to be completed.Accordingly Case FIR No. 13/2017 under section 5(1)(d) r/w 5(2) J&K P.C.
