Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today reviewed the disbursement of relief being provided under special central package to the PoK refuges of 1947, 1965 and1971.Divisional Commissioner Jammu MK Bhandari, Deputy Commissioners of Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and Jammu and Custodian Jammu was present in the meeting.Dr Nirmal Singh directed the officers to make all efforts in minimize the difficulties of displaced persons.He said the Government has been sensitive to the problems and difficulties of DPs and the special package has been provided to provide them some relief.Reviewing the funds disbursed so far, the Dy Chief Minster asked the concerned to consolidate the data to ensure that no deserving family was left in the process.He informed that the state has received latest communiqué from MHA to expedite the process of uploading the forms with full information for early release of installments.In this regard, the government has set up a cell in Divisional Commissioner office Jammu to expedite the exercise, the meeting was informed.
