Syed Altaf Bukhari distributes relief among Chinar Bagh fire sufferers

The Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, today handed over cash assistance to the fire sufferers of Chinar Bagh, whose residential houses were gutted in a fire incident on March 27. Around Rs 13 lakh of cash assistance was distributed among 13 beneficiaries which includes Rs 1,05,700 cash assistance per structure for 12 beneficiaries and Rs 5,200 for the one beneficiary with partial damage to his house.Interacting with the victim families, the Minister expressed his sympathies with them and assured them that the Government would do whatever possible is required for their proper rehabilitation.On the occasion, the Minister was accompanied by DC Srinagar Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, ADC Poornima Mittal and other concerned officials.
