Former Canadian Member Parliament Miss Rubby Dhalla today extended gratitude toward the Punjab Government for organizing 3rd World Cup Kabaddi 2012. She was here to take part in the Kabaddi match as guest of honour. She was hopeful that Canadian men ream would definitely score a position although the women squad was not succeeded in getting entry into the semis. Miss Dhalla specially admired the professionalism of Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal has been showcasing for promotion of sports in the state. She said that owing to the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Kabaddi has now become a global game. She said that in Canada Kabaddi tradition has a history of more than 70 years which is now at its peak. She said that more and more players are being now captivated by the glamour being given to Kabaddi and they are relinquishing drugs and resorting to games.
