Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today chaired meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samitis of Ramgarh, Vijaypur, Nandpur and Gurha Slathia health centres.CMO Seema Gupta, Dy CMO Rita Kotwal, BMO Ramgarh Des Raj Dogra, I/C Vijaypur Accidental Hospital Vishal Gupta, Medical Officer Anju Bakshi, besides, officials from ICDS, PHE, PWD and PDD were present in the meeting.The Minister took a detailed review of the physical and financial achievements of these institutions and the status of development works being executed to improve facilities.He directed the PWD and Health officials to ensure timely completion of works and regular follow up of decisions taken in the samiti meetings to improve functioning of these institutes.
He said that it is imperative to provide health services in case of emergencies through these establishments so that referral cases to other health institutions are minimal. He added that requirements for life saving drugs may be projected in advance so that necessary budgetary provisions are made for their procurement.The Minister directed AEE PDD to submit proposal for round the clock power supply to Community Health centre Ramgarh. He also directed Xen PWD to sort out water drainage issue at Primary Health Centre Nandpur.The Minister said that requisite steps are underway to improve facilities in all the health institutes to provide best Medicare to the patients. He said that other stakeholders may also be involved to supplement government's initiatives to augment healthcare facilities under the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
