Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday said that the clouds of uncertainty will only vanish when ‘illegal occupation’ on J&K comes to an end.According to the statement issued to KNS, Malik said, “For seeking an extension to her rule, the Chief Minister has assured his Indian masters of using more harsh tactics against Kashmiris.”Malik according to the statement was commenting upon yesterday’s meeting between the J&K Chief Minister and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.JKLF chairman said that “for seeking extension to his disastrous rule in Jammu Kashmir, the Chief Minister has pledged her masters in Delhi to use more harsh tactics to crush Kashmiri resistance and end it within three months.”“From last ten months we the people of Kashmir are witnessing killing, maiming, blinding, arresting, incarcerating, humiliations, threats and other oppressive measures. Hundreds of young and old have been killed in cold blood by Indian forces, more than ten thousand have been blinded and more than fifteen thousands have been put in jails but despite all these harsh and oppressive methods, Indian rulers and the state government have failed to put Kashmiris into submission and will fail to do so in future too,” asserted Malik.

He said that Kashmiris are fully aware of all ‘deceitful’ tactics and ‘gimmicks’ of rulers and today when the rulers want to lure us in the name of Vajpayee doctrine, “we want to tell them that we know the actual reality of Vajpayee doctrine on Jammu Kashmir which has been exposed by LK Advani himself in his book.”“Clouds of uncertainty will only eradicate from the horizons of Jammu Kashmir when illegal occupation is removed and Kashmiris are given their birth right of freedom and self-determination,” Malik said.He said that ‘violence and bloodshed’ are also a ‘bogey of India’ and their partners in the state. “It is not Kashmiris who initiate violence or who are fond of violent means but the police and forces that on the orders of the rulers have choked every little space on peaceful democratic mode of resistance,” asserted JKLF chairman.Malik said that the years of ‘subjugation, suppression, oppression and politics of deceit’ have hardened Kashmiris now to the extent that our young boys and girls wearing school uniforms and with school bags hanging around their shoulders has started resisting Indian might.“You labeled Kashmiri youth and people in resistance of taking incitements for resistance but today College and school going boys and girls are on roads seeking freedom and falsifying and exposing your propaganda,” added JKLF chief. He said that a nation that has decided to end ‘illegal occupation’ and is rendering every possible sacrifice for the cause cannot be intimidated and threatened by military and police might and it is better for India and their partners in the state to read writing on the wall , accept Kashmiri peaceful resistance and resolve the dispute on Jammu Kashmir according to the aspirations and will of Kashmiris because this only can guarantee a lasting peace, prosperity, brotherhood and stability of this region and the whole south Asia.

Meanwhile, JKLF chairman expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of mother of ex-Jamiat-e-Ahlihadees President, Late Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah, who breathed her last yesterday evening. After receiving the news of her demise, JKLF chairman along with various JKLF leaders and activists rushed to Lal Bazar Srinagar and participated in her funeral prayers.JKLF chairman visited the bereaved family and met with her sons Moulana Reyaz and Imtiyaz Ahmad and expressed solidarity with them. While terming her demise as a personal loss, JKLF chairman said that she was the sister of legendary Moulana Noor ud din and mother of Shaheed Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah.“Both these great personalities possessed the passion of uniting this Ummah and despite heading Jamiat Ahlihadees both were and are respected and missed more by those who don’t belong to their Maslak (creed),” he said.He said that the mother that has departed us today was instrumental for creating these kinds of human qualities and instincts in her children and family and today we pray to Allah almighty for her heavenly abode and express sympathies with her bereaved family.
