JIT has made impressive progress in last few years: Pro-Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam University

Jahangirabad Institute of Technology on Saturday April 22nd organized its second graduation ceremony, where 75 students from engineering and management branch were awarded degrees.The Graduation ceremony was organized at the picturesque JIT campus, situated at an old fortress in Barabanki, about 40 kms from Lucknow.The graduation ceremony was presided by Dr Maqsood Quadri, Chairman of Jahangirabad Educational Trust.Professor Mohammed Aslam Vice Chancellor of MANUU was the chief guest of the event.In his address Professor Mohammed Aslam congratulated the students and wished them all the luck for their future endeavors. He asked the students to do justice with their degrees. He said that apart from degrees, the students must also equip themselves with issues that surround us in the real world.Pro-Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam University Professor, Vinay Kumar Singh, who was in Chair for the function, said that JIT had shown impressive progress in the last few years and asked the students to look at combining action with vision to make real changes in the world.

Dr Maqsood Quadri, Chairman of Jahangirabad Educational Trust asked the students to not worry about chasing money, and instead focus on organizing their time better.Adding to Dr Quadri’s views, Dr Haider Mohammed, a doctor based in the United States of America, said that the students should focus on improving their skills and that money would follow automatically once they do so. He also added that JIT would become a technical hub in the coming days. “More than 500 people including students, their parents, local school principals and academicians  joined us on the graduation ceremonyIn total 200 students from BTech, MBA and Media courses were awarded degrees in second graduation ceremony,” said  Director of JIT Dr. K. M. Rafi and thanked all the members of JET trust for their support.Pertinently, the admission for the new session has already started at the AICTE-approved Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT) in different degree and diploma courses. The admissions are open for students who wish to study Polytechnic diploma and various undergraduate and post graduate degrees. The admissions will continue till the last week of August 2017.
