The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmad, today convened a meeting to review preparations for smooth conduct of upcoming Graduate Level Examinations to be conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB).SSP Budgam, CEO, ZEOs, Principals of various colleges and Higher Secondary Schools and various district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.The DDC asked all Principals of colleges and Higher Secondary Schools to assist the SSB in ensuring fair and transparent conduct of examinations. He asked the administrators to have an action plan ready and inspect the venues prior to the exams to ensure that proper illumination and appropriate seating facility are in place so that the candidates face no inconvenience at all.He also asked the officials to have videography of the written test at regular intervals in order to ensure the transparency in the process.The DDC said that restrictions under Section 144 CrPc will be imposed around the examination centers.
