Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today dedicated projects worth Rs. 39. 53 crore to the people of Chamba.He dedicated the innovative Rs.13.30 crore Uteep-Luddu-Baat drinking water supply scheme covering 16 villages of five panchayats benefitting population of 15 thousand. He laid foundation stone of administrative block of Police to cost Rs.4.25 crore . He laid foundation stones of improvement and widening of crash barriers and metalling and tarring on Chamba-Sahu road to cost Rs.7.39 crore, construction of Kariaan-Bailey road to cost Rs 3.27 crore, metalling and tarring of Rs. 3.60 crore Saho-Kurena Dhar road and Rs.1.68 crore Devidehra-Bakatpur road. He also laid foundation stone of Kidi-Banjal road to cost Rs1.86 crore.The Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Mehla-Ukla road to cost Rs. 94 lakh in Bharmour assembly constituency of Chamba district. He also visited Mehla development block in evening.Shri Virbhadra Singh later inaugurated the Bakani bridge completed with an outlay of Rs. 3.24 crore connecting Kariaan with Bakani over River Ravi.
