Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratan Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution, on his birth anniversary at Ambedkar Chowk, here today.Virbhadra Singh said Baba Saheb was known as father of the Indian Constitution and his contribution in framing the same cannot be forgotten. He was no less than an archangel for poor and downtrodden and always fought for equal rights for both men and women, particularly for the ‘Dalits’. He said that Baba Saheb was the most recognized leader of his time and his contribution towards the Nation was well commended.The others who followed the Chief Minister in paying floral tributes were MLA Shri Mohan Lal Brakta, Mayor Shri Sanjay Chauhan, Deputy Mayor Shri Tikender Panwar, Member Vice Chairman, HPTDC Shri Harish Janartha, Deputy Commissioner Shri Rohan Thakur, MC Commissioner Shri G.C Negi, Councellors and other prominent citizens of the town.
