Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban Mohammad Aijaz convened a meeting to review the progress of Revenue department.Meeting was attended by ADC Angrez Singh, SDM Gool Pankaj Balotra, SDM Banihal Vikas Verma, Tehsildars and Niab Tehsildars.Officers were instructed for early completion of land acquisition cases, preparation of Jambandi, attestation of mutations and submit inheritance mutations detail with proper verification as per death record of chowkidar register besides submitting the village wise detail of eviction of land encroached. He directed the Tehsildars to assess the damages incurred due to recent heavy rain and landslides for processing the compensation cases.DC stressed upon the officers to adopt pro- active work culture for timely disposal of applications and submission of information under PSGA to Deputy Commissioner Office so that such cases are disposed off within the prescribed period. He directed the revenue officers to provide revenue and other services including RBA, PRC and other category certificates under PSGA within the prescribed time. He also directed the Tehsildars to submit progress under Aadhaar enrolments.
